1. Insert the thumb drive to an empty USB slot. Take note the drive letter. For an example, E
2. Open an elevated (admin) Command Prompt:
Windows XP – click Start All Programs Accessories Command Prompt
Windows Vista or Windows 7 – click Start All Programs Accessories then right click on ‘Command Prompt’ and click on ‘Run as administrator’
Windows 8 – WINKEY + Q type cmd in the search box then right click on ‘Command Prompt’ and click on ‘Run as administrator’
3. Enter this command,
4. Press Enter and wait for the command to execute.
5. Open the thumb drive and you should see the files that were hidden by the virus.
